Frequently Asked Questions
What are your fees?
Tamara Harrison’s fees are $215 per session. Each session is 50 minutes in length.
Isabelle Sarno’s fees are $165 for a 50 minute session.
How long will I be in counseling?
This really depends on a number of factors, such as the issues you want to work on, the goals you want to achieve, and the amount of work you're willing to put into therapy. Some people come in for short-term therapy, which might be around 12 sessions, and others are in therapy for more than a year. One options isn't better than the other - it really depends on so many different things! If you'd like to get a better idea of this, let's talk about your unique situation. And remember, you're in charge, so you can stop counseling at any time.
Do you take insurance?
At this time I am not paneled with insurance companies, so the fee will be paid for in full at the time of each session. However, I always encourage clients to check their policy: you may be eligible for reimbursement for some/all of the counseling cost. To use out of network benefits, I am happy to provide a superbill, which is a document you can submit to your insurance company. This may allow you to be reimbursed, but it is very important that you call your insurance company beforehand to determine whether they will provide any coverage.
Here are the questions you might wish to ask your insurance company about out of network coverage:
Do I have mental health coverage, and if so, do I have to meet a deductible before benefits kick in?
Is Tamara Harrison in network with my plan?
What are my benefits for out-of-network providers?
If I submit a superbill, how much of the cost will be reimbursed to me?
What is your training?
Tamara is a master's-level clinician, which means I have a master's degree in counseling and have completed a practicum, internship, and 3,000 clinical hours under a qualified supervisor in order to receive my license. I have almost a decade of experience in the field, and I have worked in a number of settings, including community mental health (jails, hospitals, in-home services, and schools), schools, group practice, and private practice. I have experience working with a wide range of mental health issues, ages (age 4 to age 80), and populations. I specialize in OCD and related anxiety disorders and have received advanced training in the use of ERP and ACT to treat OCD.
Isabelle graduated 2022 with an MS in Counseling (emphasis in Trauma) from Grand Canyon University and I have been working since as an LMHC-A after completing my internship through school. So far I’ve come across a variety of different clients ranging from Trauma, Anxiety, OCD and managing life stressors as a single mom just to mention a few. I will be starting a PhD program in 2025 to add to my knowledge as well as completing various CE credit courses so I can provide the best therapy experience possible!
