8 Weeks to Tame Intrusive Thoughts and Conquer Compulsions

A step-by step interactive experience where you learn how to tame intrusive thoughts,
conquer compulsions, and step into freedom from the obsessive-compulsive cycle.

This is for you if...

This is for you if...

  • You’re at a loss for how to manage the intensely distressing, repetitive, unwanted thoughts that seem to crash into your mind like a lightning bolt of urgency.

The thoughts are completely contrary to your values, which causes immense distress and self-doubt. The more you try to push them away, the stronger they become.

  • You doubt everything you do and feel trapped in your own mind, unable to escape the constant cycle of relentless, distressing thoughts and the compulsions that follow them.

The thoughts cause you shame and make you doubt your character. You can’t risk sharing these thoughts with anyone, even those closest to you. Yet you feel unable to stop fixating on the thoughts, because they target the things you care about the most.

  • You feel imprisoned to your
    compulsions and rituals —
they feel like the only escape from the fear, guilt, or dreaded consequence.

You think these attempts will stop the pain, and they might…temporarily...
but only until the next time OCD strikes. This becomes a never-ending cycle that feels life-consuming.

  • You feel as if no amount of reassurance or action is ever enough
to quiet the anxiety and fear.

It’s like being at war with yourself —battling thoughts you desperately don’t want, but you feel intensely compelled to respond to.

  • You worry that your intrusive thoughts define you — that you are somehow responsible for the dark, unwanted images and fears that flood your mind.

The shame feels unbearable, making you question your morality and worth.

You may live in constant fear of being "found out," believing that if others knew the thoughts you battle daily, you would be shunned or abandoned.

  • You are plagued with constant doubt, often about safety, morality, your identity, or making the “right” decisions.

"What if?" is infused into every aspect of life. You feel unable to trust your own mind. You check and recheck, ask for reassurance repeatedly, or question your own memories and decisions, yet no answer ever feels satisfying.

Why am I the one to help you?

Hi. I’m Tamara Harrison.

Helping others break free from the obsessive-compulsive prison is my passion and life’s work.

I've spent years learning from the top OCD experts in the country, gaining the best training and education to truly understand what works. But more importantly, I’ve helped hundreds of people just like you break free from obsessions and compulsions so they can take back their lives. I know how overwhelming it can feel, but I also know firsthand that real change is possible—and I’m here to help you get there.

I know what it’s like to feel imprisoned by your mind - I have a personal history of OCD that dates back to childhood, and I have struggled with almost every theme under the sun. Recovering from OCD through my own ERP treatment has given me my life back and gives me so much confidence in the work I do for my clients. I can confidently say that I no longer meet criteria for OCD, no longer suffer from obsessive thoughts, and no longer engage in compulsions. I love offering this same hope to those I treat.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Nope, you definitely don’t need a diagnosis! You simply have to be at a point where you feel that intrusive thoughts, and the things you do to deal with them, get in the way of living a value-filled life.

  • I will teach you all about ERP and ACT, which are cognitive-behavioral techniques specifically designed for obsessive-compulsive symptoms. It involves gradually exposing yourself to feared thoughts, situations, or triggers while resisting compulsive behaviors. It is the gold standard technique we have for helping this issue.

ERP helps retrain your brain by teaching it that anxiety and discomfort will naturally decrease over time without needing to perform compulsions.

  • Although I’m obligated to say that results vary from person to person, I know that with consistent practice, individuals typically start to see improvement in symptoms and reduced distress within a few weeks.

  • No, ERP is a gradual process. I will work with you to create an individualized hierarchy of exposures, starting with easier ones before progressing to more challenging situations.

  • Obsessive-compulsive symptoms can fluctuate, but continuing to practice ERP skills helps prevent relapses and maintains progress.

Spoiler alert: You will learn to live with any thoughts, no matter what they are, without them bothering you. The yucky ones will become quieter, less distressing, less frequent, and won’t get in the way of living your life!

  • If you experience distressing intrusive thoughts and feel compelled to engage in rituals (mental or physical) to relieve anxiety, this program is designed to help break this cycle. 🙌🥳

If you still have doubts, book a free call with me to talk it out 🙂

  • Yes! In fact, talk therapy may have made things worse for you up until now.

Instead of focusing primarily on the content and meaning of the thoughts, this program teaches you how to have a way better relationship with your thoughts. It helps you live your life without compulsions and fear getting in the way. The teachings in the program work where traditional talk therapy fails.

  • Nope, this isn’t Fear Factor :) I believe in challenging fear in a structures and manageable away.

The goal is to gradually build confidence and tolerance to fears over time.

My promise is that I will never ask someone to do something I wouldn’t personally do myself.

  • It’s normal to feel increased anxiety at first - anything new has the potential to be a little scary, but you can trust that my approach is individually tailored and gentle.

With practice, your brain learns that you can tolerate distress without engaging in compulsions!

  • Yes! Mental compulsions (e.g., reassurance-seeking, rumination) are specifically addressed with this program.

I give you key strategies to manage mental obsessions and rituals.

  • 100% yes. This program works for all obsessive themes, no matter how they present for you.

  • Yes absolutely - research done during the pandemic shows that online work for this issue is equally effective as in-person. In fact, the majority of people who have worked with me in the past prefer the online modality.
